one day you'll thank me...

Sometimes I get a sigh or a roll of the eyes when the camera comes out, but I always say, "one day you'll thank me." I'll be the first to admit that I take a lot of pictures. I mean, how many people do you know that have three cameras that they use regularly?

It always amazes Buie how I can look at a picture such as this one above and tell you about the whole evening based on the outfit we are both wearing. :) Ask any girl... I think it's a gift. As long as I have one picture from one particular evening in which my outfit is showing in the picture I can usually tell you what we did that evening, who was there, etc. To a guy, it's just another picture of us holding out the camera in front of us because we don't have anyone to take the picture for us...but to a girl...there's a story with every picture and with every outfit. Ladies...agree??

Buie and I have been married a little over 2 months now and it's amazing what all we have been through. Since we have returned from our honeymoon on July 11th, we have dealt with so many things as a couple. We have dealt with many things that are pretty typical house problems such as a broken toilet and a leaking air conditioner. On top of the normal house issues, Buie and I have also had to deal with our car being stolen! Yup, that's right, about a month ago our car was stolen from our very parking lot at our condo. The same week, I pinched a nerve in my neck AND to top it all off we were both eating lunch at my work place when a man with a gun came into our building. Read more about this story here.

I wouldn't change any of these things that we've been through because even in bad situations, we learn a little more about each other. I WOULD say, as a couple, we've now been through it all, but something tells me that over the years we will be facing many more issues....hopefully these issues won't be holding a gun though.

Despite the bad things in life, we have had so many opportunites to enjoy life, getting to know new friends and each other even more. Here are a few recent pics.
